The Teachers
All of our teaching staff are fully qualified and experienced native foreign language trainers, with a specialised background in adult education.
Levels
The courses are offered at beginner, elementary and intermediate levels. To help you decide which level is right for you, please use the following set of guidelines:
Beginner: You have little or no knowledge of the language. Your vocabulary is limited to a few words, and you have not had any previous tuition.
Elementary: To enter this level, you should be able to understand simple questions, statements and survive in basic situations. You should be able to deal with situations necessary to survive in an environment where the language is spoken, eg. travel, accommodation, shopping, socialising. Your comprehension of the language is also limited. You use mainly present tense, with some set phrases for the past.
Intermediate: You should be able to speak well, but are not fluent in the language. You should understand a good amount of spoken and written language. You can write simple sentences but make mistakes (e.g. UK A-Level). This level consolidates previous study and serves as a bridge towards higher levels of comprehension and expression.
